High Volume Production Laser Micromachining

Production Class 8 cleanroom

High Volume Production Cleanroom

You can't always predict when a new product launch is going to take off. When it does, you can't afford to be caught flat-footed, scrambling for capacity; you've got to meet the demand.  This is why you need a supplier who can handle high volume production in addition to meeting your need for speed and agility.

Resonetics has a long history – over 25 years – of producing tight tolerance, micromachined polymer components in high volumes. For example, we've handled the introduction and scale-up of sensor components for continuous glucose monitoring, filters for cardiovascular applications and surface texturing for implantable devices.   At Resonetics, high volume production is never a problem.

Experience Counts with High Volume Production

If you're going to do laser micromachining in high volume you better know what you're doing. Our operations managers and supervisors have been with us for an average of 12+ years. You can be certain your project is in the hands of professionals who are experts at all aspects of laser micromachining.

And they're not the only experts at Resonetics.  The manufacturing floor is well supported with a dedicated manufacturing engineering team and Six Sigma expertise with four Black Belt and three Green Belt certified resources. Yes, we're proud of our peoples' expertise, but what really counts is what they do for your peace of mind: assurance that the job gets done right.

With all this experience, we're accustomed to tooling up for high volume requirements and have become expert at designing and implementing automated material handling and vision inspection systems. Where appropriate, we have introduced control charting and real-time SPC monitoring to make sure it's all on target.

Your Resonetics' team will oversee your high volume production from start to finish. The team is composed of experts from our engineering, quality and production groups. Working together, their mission is to ensure that each process is robust, capable and compliant with all your quality system needs.

Investment in Your High Volume Micromachining Needs

We moved into our modern 64,000 sq. ft. facility in 2011 and took the opportunity to optimize the layout for maximum efficiency and minimum waste. We have a large Class 8 (100,000) cleanroom for production and also a dedicated area for prototyping and pilot production so that we don't have to break down production equipment to run a few prototypes.

Each year we invest 10-15 percent of our revenues back into capital equipment and infrastructure so that our capabilities remain state-of-art. We have the expertise in-house to design and build our laser workstations and tooling quickly and cost-effectively, driving our continuous improvement initiatives to take cost out as products grow.  As a result, we help you be more competitive.

We are ISO 13485:2003 and 9001:2008 registered and have a stellar track record delivering quality products on time. (Learn more about our commitment to quality.) Whatever your needs, we're flexible about meeting them – whether  it's providing supply chain management solutions, integrating additional value added operations, or assisting with inventory management to reduce lead time and carrying costs. We realize you’re busy and take pride in being recognized by our customers as a company that’s easy to work with.

At Resonetics, we are fortunate to have a talented and dedicated workforce. Our voluntary turnover is very low and we have a terrific labor pool close at hand to accommodate our growth. With the right of first refusal on an adjacent 190,000 sq. ft. facility, we are well positioned to serve the growing needs for polymer laser micromachining for the life sciences industry.
