Laser Micromachining Equipment
With over sixty (60) lasers and systems in the contract manufacturing facility of the Laser Micromachining Division, Resonetics has the capacity to meet high volume manufacturing requirements. The corporation utilizes excimer laser systems (193nm and 248nm), diode-pumped solid-state systems (266nm and 355nm), CO2 laser systems (9.4micron and 10.6 micron) and femtosecond laser (800nm) for the laser micromachining of polymers, glass, ceramics and thin metals.
Resonetics operates a three (3) shift, six (6) days per week operation to provide its OEM partners unparalleled customer service and support to address both short term and long term objectives. Have confidence that choosing Resonetics as your outsource partner will solidify your manufacturing roadmap.
In the development of laser processes for both medical device manufacturing and laser systems, the large highly skilled team of application engineers (PhD, Masters level) provide the necessary horsepower and innovative creativity to develop the process quickly. The extensive years of experience to understand laser photons, material interaction, optics and automation helps to facilitate a seamless transfer from development to production

Production Automation Equipment
A major strategic objective of Resonetics is to drive down manufacturing costs through the use of innovative processes and automation. As minimally invasive procedures become more commonplace, automation of every step of the manufacturing process is critical through the use of robotics, cassette handlers, auto part loaders and automated inspection. The corporation's large staff of engineering and application resources generates significant horsepower to handle the most demanding application.

Value Added Services
Resonetics core competency is the laser micromachining of polymers, glass, ceramics and thin metals for 2-D (flat and tubular) and 3-D geometries. In addition to laser micromachining, Resonetics provides value-added manufacturing services such as catheter finishing (cutting, tipping, flaring) to help its OEM partners meet their outsourcing needs in a cost-effective manner.
With laser micromachining as a critical manufacturing process, Resonetics works closely with its OEM customers to provide additional manufacturing services before or after the laser process. This include the procurement and management of the raw material (such as catheters or balloons).
